What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

We live on the third floor in a ten unit condominium complex. Due to health reasons we installed a winch and basket to raise our groceries, firewood, etc.
We did this over six years ago. A new board has decided they don,t like it and want us to remove it. Is'nt there a statute of limitations to prevent this from happening?

No, a statute of limitations would have absolutely nothing to do with this situation.
However, laws regarding accomodations for people with disabilities might very well cover this. I am also not sure that a statute of limitations might not apply. Statutes of limitations apply to civil cases as well as criminal ones. I would suggest that the OP consult with a local attorney. This seems more than a bit "petty" on the part of the new board. Perhaps the OP suing to have an elevator installed (probably impossible) might make the "board" think twice about their winch.
