Question

dissolution of a condominium complex

What is the name of your state?michigan

I currently am a homeowner in a detached condominium site. My question is:

Can a condominium break-up and become individual homeowners and how would one go about doing that? Who would hold the master deed to the property? Would it be the builder? What would be involved in doing this and what would be the first step if it were to be legal?

What you're wanting to do is possible...but the outcome is certainly not predictable.

It will involve a massive lawsuit, lots of lawyers, lots of time, and lots of money.

You need to start by retaining a very sharp real estate attorney. Probably $20K would be a good retainer.
