H.o.a gets $10,000 out of my home loan

COLORADO-
I am fighting my H.O.A for water damage that was not my fault they wanted me to pay the $5,000. Dutiable for the insurance but I said no. So they put a line on my condo. I then filed to counter sure them, and before we went to court their lawyer wrote to my mortgage company (countrywide) requesting $10,000. And without talking to me, countrywide sent my H.O.A $10,106.00 and now countrywide is telling me that I am in default and, if don’t pay it by January 16, 2009 they will begin foreclose. What do I do?

What did Countrywide tell you when you asked them?

And what does your HOA agreement say they can do in situations like this?
