HOA (condo) FEE reassessment - how to dispute it?California I am a condo owner. My HOA assessed an emergency fee to pay per each unit instead of calculating it per sq. ft. I own 1 bdr and the majority of the units are 2 bdrs. How can I dispute this and request a reassessment? Thanks you, ...What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| Unless the CC&R's require assessments based on area, you can't. If they do, write a letter to the board and if they don't reply acceptably, you sue.
