I have just moved into a community when I purchased the property I was told that there was a co-op but not active only for dinners and such. A year later all of a sudden a person who only lives in the communty part time has decided to inforce the co-op rules that have not be in effect for over twenty years. We own our land and the membership is voluntary. It is not even indicated on our title policy other than there is one. How can the we as a group force this person to back off and leave the people alone that do not want to be a part of his little sect. He is trying to inforce rules that are so out dated they don't even come up to county codes. This person is trying to force people to join the co-op to have a voice to vote and they cannot even produce a budget showing where the money goes that they do collect. Need some advice soon.
