What is the name of your state? california

Hi, I need to post a notice to 3 of my neighbors that the water will be turned off (during the day) while I have plumbing repairs done in my unit. What do I need to post? How much notice do I need to give? I have called my association several times, and they have not responded. I am told by the plumber that I have to turn the water off before he will do the work, this is under a warranty contract.

I just want to make sure that I post the notices correctly and in an appropriate amount of time.

Thanks,

First check with your city to learn if they have spelled out in any ordinance water line repairs that require temporary disruption of water services in multi units . you may have to speak with a real estate atty to learn what would be a suitable amount of notice since it will be a planned repair rather than a emergency repair .

**A: what does your association have to do with your plumbing repair?
Are you in a condo building? IF so, the HOA must post the notices and turn the water off.
