Landlord Rental Fee Resolution

My Condominium Association recently issued a resolution that charges landlords a $250 move-in fee for each new tenant that occupies the landlord's unit. While the association claims that the fee off-sets administrative fees, it is my opinion that these fees are $10 at most, and that the association is using the resolution to take advantage of owners who choose to rent their units. Is there any law in the state of NJ to protect me against such a fee?

**A: not that I know of. HOA's are their own government and provided state and federal laws are not violated, they are basically free to do whatever they want.
