Late FeesWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA Question about the ability to charge late fees. I work for an association, recently changed management companies. I was told previously that we can only charge late fees for the month that was late. Currently - if an owner doesn't pay in January, they get a late fee (understood) now when they pay in February (on-time) that payment goes towards January's open balance and they are charged a late fee for February. Is this proper billing in GA? |

| Depends.... what does the condo association say??
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| If the bylaws allow / spell out when late fees are due it certainly would be cleaner to reject short payments via certified mail and inc a copy regarding late payment & fees rather than making a huge accounting problem out of it each month. This way it would establish a pattern showing late payments with out late fee will not be tolerated. |
