Question

Manager weirds out

What is the name of your state? New York

I live in a multi-dwelling Co-Op for many years. I never had any trouble with anyone... up til now.

Since the new manager, and this new neighbor I've had lots of trouble. There is a longstanding policy of if you see any vandalism or "anything suspicious" we're supposed to report it to Management right away.

Well everytime I report vandalism coming from these particular people this new manager takes the position that I'm the one causing the problem. For instance, when I report to Management I've had to call city police and building security on a certain person approximately 15 times, the manager asks me why I'm harassing this person.

On top of that the manager asks me why I'm "stalking" this person when I request a meeting and I come with a notebook of me keeping meticulous notes of police reports and other aggregious activity. This, in the eyes of the manager is tantamount to me "stalking" the aggravator. You read that right. In the eyes of the manager, me coming to the three-way meeting with a notebook is "stalking" the person.

I show the manager my solid plaster wall that's busted up to the hilt with this person trying to drop it with a heavy object, and me tape-recording the thuds, the manager says the wall is like that due to age. It's really remarkable, isn't it?

Now in a new meeting a few days ago about a pattern of garbage continually being strewn out in the hallway (including human waste) the same manager asks me if I'm the one doing it, and making some snide remarks about my Succession Rights as if to say "you must be joking."

So at this moment there's more garbage strewn out in the hallway. I'm not saying the same person is responsible THIS time, and I didn't strew it, but I'm scared to leave a note with the manager because she will say what she always says. That I'm harassing the porters by reporting this garbage, so now all the clean-loving people on this floor are resigned to live in a pigsty, I suppose.

At the recent stockholder's meeting, attended by about 50 people, the person responsible for most of this garbage and all the wall-dropping stood up twice and makes the pronouncement her rent has recently been raised $230.00 while there hasn't been a rent increse for a single tenant here for at least 5 years, and she was told so.

Should I be worried about my Succession Rights? What are Succession Rights anyway and how vital are they to me? I'm paying my rent and I've been told there's nothing they can do as long as I'm paying the rent. They know I've been here a long time, that's not the issue.

What is it with this manager, can anyone tell me please?

To compound my woes, I found out at least one and maybe two or more internet stalkers have resorted to spamming the manager with "my sister threatened to kill me, etc" and these are particularly persistent and virulent people. For instance, I have a letter from the FBI on one of them when he threatened me online and the other is a federal ex-con who did hard time for transmitting kiddie porn acorss state lines and both their brains were partially destroyed in prison.

What impact do you think this unstoppable spam by these two internet bullies will have on this situation?

Ha ha ha you guys are funny

I'm famous! But prefer to remain anonymous here on FreeAdvice. Let's just say "I get them" lol. I've had some bad luck with some people maybe because I'm overexposed.

I could give you one or two trade words and instantly everyone knows who I am and I don't want to do that. Eventually I WILL be found out, I have every confidence in that. But for now I'm just Totalwreck123 thanks!

You are not famous. What you are is delusional and mentally ill. I say that with absolutely no malice. You need to get some help.

I thought my retort about "the buffoonery" was even better

I see lots of buffoonery on the Internet. In fact, you have no idea how much.
