Question

Me Vs. My Wife

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? New York City

I just recently got married, and recently purchased a studio in a condominium. I mistakenly forgot to include my wife in the deed due to the chaos of the situation (there was a lawsuit involved).
We are now arguing because she says she wants her name on the deed -which will cost money to do, and since we are trying to save every penny, I am against it.
Her name is on the Condo board paperwork, she will be getting a parking spot. Money will be coming out of her account for payment of the mortgage, bills, etc.
We have no plans of ever getting divorced, but worst case scenrio, I say she has nothing to worry about, that she would still get half if something happened since there is plenty of proof that she was part owner.

She says she still wants her name on the deed.
Am I wrong? Do we need to go through the entire process?
I thank you in advance for your help.

This is the best "Real Estate Law/Condos and Co-Op" advice you can offer? Is this why you are a self proclaimed "Guru"? Get over yourself.

What kind of man are you to judge someone as being cheap?

I don't know the standards of this forum, but if a moderator sees the answer I received, I would hope that something would be done.

If you came to offer advice, offer it, or shut up.

Do you know what makes you morons? It's that highhorse that you're each sitting on. Do you know what I have in my bank account? Arrogant pricks.

Hey Belize, here's the same advice I gave Guru-

If you came to offer advice, offer it, or shut up.
(Oh, and smartass, watch your grammar and spelling)

And from what his wife told me, the pocket full of posey isn't much to brag about

And by the way numnuts, if you want to measure, my boat cost more than your condo.

And that's why you should just offer the advice you came here to offer. I don't care about what you own or not. I came to a forum for advice, not to be mocked. You don't know me, and lucky for me, I don't know you. You are supposedly on this forum to offer advice, but from the posts that I have seen, all you do is mock people.

I guess being an ambulance chaser on the internet pays well. Get your sail your boat, and do the world a favor, sink with it.

Ahh, but that's ok, you have to live with yourself, boat or not.
