Owner turning one unit into two for rentalRecently I've purchased a condo in a 3 unit building. The owner of the 1st floor is renovating the 1st floor and basement of the building. The goal is to make this into two seperate apartments. Could anyone help with what the law says regarding this? In the condo documents there are only three units. Also, it states that if the owner of one of the units is going to rent, they can only rent to 3 non-related individuals. I'm afraid this owner is going to try and turn the "one" unit into two. I would like to know if there are any laws that could prevent this and protect ourselves. |

| US Law Only - WHEN POSTING A QUESTION, YOU MUST INCLUDE THE NAME OF YOUR STATE
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
