Parking Space Nightmare

CA- My mom helped me buy a condo in Nov. 06. A day after signing the papers we moved in, and found out the developers sold us a parking spot to another person in the condo complex. I phoned the realtor to switch our spot to another space, and send the paperwork to my mother (which was never sent). That being said, all the condos in our complex eventually were sold, and recently I got a note on my car saying that my spot belonged to someone else. Now I'm left with basically no space, parking on the street, and can't get a hold of our realtor. Is there anything that I can do, because techincally the builder sold the same parking space to two people?? Any suggestions would help.

There must be some kind of owners association that regulates/controls the common areas that you can appeal to.

When you bought the condo, were you deeded a parking space? Was the space officially sold to you with a description? Is it on your title?

I don't think you're going to get help from the realtor because they already got their commission and are gone.

I tried to contact the HOA, and was told to contact the builder. The space was clearly marked on the deed and title. The space was sold to us with a description, it was numbered and pictured on a page in the deed. Any suggestions?

Souldn't the first stop be the title company since it seems like a problem with the deeded space?
