Re: NYS Co-op-How do I transfer a name/shares off co-op title?

Due to a NYS divorce, spouse wanted no interest in NYS co-op apartment.

There is no mortgage anymore.

The divoice attorneys years ago did nothing about the names on the ownership of the shares.

How do I get her name off of title of the co-op? How do I change the
ownership of the shares from joint names to mine only? Is there a form to be filled out?

Please advise. Thanks!

Seems that whether or not your ex can transfer her shares to you is at the discretion of the Board.
