Renting my town home - association changed rule that no owner can rent any more

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL

I live in a town home that I own. the town home association has recently changed rule that no one can rent it any more. I did not sign the resolution that restrict renting but mejority of others did.
I am now planning to move for employment opportunities and with current real eastae market selling my town home would be a big lose.
I want to rent it till market improves.
Need advise on this issue.

**A: if the resolution was passed by the Board et. al. and is now legal, then you have no argument.
