Timeshare in a foreign countryWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas I bought a timeshare in St. Marteen (Flamingo Resorts) many years ago so it is paid and all I am doing now is paying the yearly fees. I no longer seem to use it so I want to get rid of it. I know it has no cash value so all I want to do is "give it back" or transfer it to someone who may want it - my name should totally come off the title. The resort is managed (I think) by Diamon Resorts Internations with offices in Floriad and Nevada. From what I can see on other sites, donation of this type of international timeshare is not an option so... any suggestions? Can they come after me if I stop payments? |
