Townhouse vs. condo

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
Is there a legal difference between a townhouse and a condo?

**A: yes, in general a townhouse is a type of design/construction of a building whereas a condo is a legal description of property ownership (condominium unit)
