Trying to Refinance

Maryland

I am trying to refinance my mortgage. In the contract that I signed with the coop it stated that I have to go through an approved lender by the coop in order to refinance. I did not realize when I was signing this that this was the case. I have been approve for a loan by an outside lender however the coop is refusing to give the lender information they need in order to complete he loan. Is there some law that proibits the coop from requiring me to use a specific lender or is that law null and void because I am dealing with a coop?
