Bad Siding Job

What is the name of your state? Indiana
I had some contruction work done to my primary residence by a "family friend". He did not complete the job, and what work was done was done is a very unprofessional manner, windows not finished, siding falling off, put on incorrectly and crooked. The work was done without a written contract, only a verbal one. Do I have any recourse to get him to pay for the repairs and corrections to the work ??? I would appreciate any information anyone can give me.....
