What is the name of your state? Delaware

We have filed a lawsuit against a contractor based in Delaware for work completed in Pennsylvania. In a nutshell, he was overbudget and 4 months behind schedule. The court is now asking us to provide a bill of particulars. What do we need to give to them, i.e., receipts, cancelled checks, estimates?

How do you know this?

A bill of particulars is a nice of way of saying they have no idea what you are talking about.

Since you are in small claims court and representing yourself, you need to ask the state bar of the state where you have filed your small claims lawsuit if they have a booklet on small claims.

Follow the rules set out in the book (or, if there is no book, the statutes).
