Can a repairman sue me after expiry of Lean Period

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
I had roof done for my house - we had a written contract in which the repair person signed on that a certain type of brand name shingles will be put - but he put a cheaper quality shingles instead - i refused to pay for it asking him to put the shingles he promised on the roof - he never came back - it has been more than 90 days and the time period during which he could have filed a lean against my house has expired (in ga they can do it only in the 90 days). Now he is making threatning calls to my home number - i asked him to go to court and pursue it if he can as the contract had expired already during which he could have come back and fixed my roof with the right kind of shingles - does he have any claims against me in any kind of court of law?
thanks for your help

He has the right to be reimbursed for what he did do.
