What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Nevada

In March we signed a contract to have a patio/balcony built. They started in April and were to be completed within 6-8 weeks per our contract. At this time, work is still not completed and several problems have occurred. Our contractor is very pleasant and has admitted that they have made mistakes that are delaying the process, however they do not seem to be in a hurry to fix them. My question is: do we have a right to stop work with them and choose a new contractor to finish? If we do, how do you decide how much $ is owed to them? (We still have the final payment to make upon completion)
Thank you.
