What is the name of your state? Utah

We have been in our home for 3 years and 1 month. It is a modular and when the contractor was putting it together they burned the linoleum in the kitchen with a space heater. They patched a square where the burn was but that is it. Now the patch is lifting and we have tried everything to fix it. Can we go after the contractor, or do we have any leagal standings?

Can I make the original contractor pay for it?

**A: I highly doubt it since so much time has passed and any warranty has expired. Read your installation contract.
