What is the name of your state? Louisiana (New Orleans)

A local developer named Gene Viola of Viola Homes (previously Heavenly Homes) has been given grief to most of the homeowners that purchased his houses over the past several years. With just the first few years, many of these homes need to be repaired that should be covered under a lemon law for defects at the time it was built.

My question is, at what point can you have enough cases that a class action should be filed rather than separate cases ?? Also, can a class action expect to recover any attorney fees and possibly be awarded punitive damages since this developer may continue to make others deal with these same headaches ??

Thanks for any help you can provide.

**A: you only need 2 or more Plaintiffs.
