Concrete guys blamed it on the fill underneath (which was done by builder) builder says its our fault because we don't have sod around the driveway yet and also mentioned something about our downspouts. . It was poured last November. We don't know what to do...help!!!What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

| well, if your downspouts drain the roof onto or beside the driveway, it could undermine the concrete and cause what is happening. As well, if the foundation was not prepared properly, that too could cause the drive to sink. So, how to determine which it is? Hire a geological engineer who can study and evaluate the situation. They may need to core bore through the drive to check the foundation.
