my mother's house is a 2-story ranch-style, approx. 3000 sq. ft. and is 10 yrs old.the exterior stucco is bulging, pulling away from the frame, crumbling, etc. due to moisture damage--a common problem we have come to understand w/ stucco homes in the southeast.the builder has gone out of business and currently cannot be located.the sc building commission couldn't/wouldn't help.allstate homeowner's policy will not cover damages.repair estimate: over $50,000.have researched and found some homeowners have won settlements and some have had to pay out of pocket.any advice as how we can be one of the lucky ones?

Guru, thank you for your reply! Are you able (or allowed :) ) to recommend a good construction defect litigation attorney in the Georgia, North Carolina, or (most preferably)South Carolina areas? Take care.
