What is the name of your state?Arizona, We had a local flooring company put in 780 sq. feet of ceramic tile in for us it took 3 weeks to install working 8 hours a day and sometimes on Saturday. On our paper work, the title says job invoice and an estimate of work however we did not sign the estimate. We were only given a copy not an original so we liked the price and had them install the tile.During the process the installers had a difficult time because thetile kept sinking now the job is complete and we are very unhappy we have high and low tiles and they are not smooth it was supposed to be groutless tile butt tight and as smooth as glass it has a glossy texture and shows up the tiles are 20x20. We have not been able to come to an agreement with the contractor on how to solve the problem so went to the registar of contractors they are going to come and do an inspection. The contracor raised his estimate to 6400.00 from a quote of 2790.00.How is this going to affect us because we did not sign the job invoice. I don't mind paying as long as the job is done right and to our satisfaction. By the way the comapny did not use a leveling agent before they started. thanks ricaray
