What is the name of your state? Kentucky

I have a written contract from my contractor that states that they will have the home completed within five months barring any inclimate weather. We have had only one bad week and it looks like the home will not get done within seven months, do I have any grounds to stand on? Can I withhold any payments?

**A: have an attorney review your contract. There is no way anyone here could answer your question without reviewing your written contract and the default provisions and remedies therein.
