| |  Laws for Contractors without Insurance?
We are a Restoration Specialist Company in Hbg,PA and we used a contractor that said they had insurance and then it turns out they do not. Is there a law that contractors must have insurance? |

| | | I think we may be talking about Workers Comp insurance so most states would require the hiring business to prove that the contractor has the proper insurance or that business would be required to include them on their policy. If not, you would probably be fined and required to pay for that insurance when an audit is done.
