What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NH
I am a sub who is being stiffed by the contractor hired to repair/turn over a Fannie Mae owned property.
When I notified Fannie Mae of my intention to file the lien on their property they said basically 'You better not or else' and then back down when I asked 'or else what'.
I'm wondering if Fannie Mae is any different than any other title holder as regards to mechanics liens.
Also, where would I send notice of the lien? I think FNMA, Washington DC. won't work.
Thanks.
