What is the name of your state? CO
If we terminated our general contractor due to breach of contract, are we now liable for all liens coming in? He was the only one with a signed agreement with the subcontractors. Thanks for your help.

Anyone who performed labor or furnished material can place a lein on the property within the limits of the laws in your state. If you anticipate problems with the GC you can always issue two party checks to the GC and the subcontractor or supplier.
