I purchased an old home that had been completely renovated in Virginia. We closed on the house less than 3 months ago, but moved in only a month ago and are having big plumbing problems. We have a home warranty but it will not cover this issue because it was improperly installed (specifically it is in the hot water lines behind the walls). The plumbing was bran new. Do we have any legal recourse? If so, is it with the seller, the general contractor, or the plumber who the general contractor sub-contracted to?

**A: did you hire a home inspector? What exactly is the plumbing problem and how do you know that the lines behind the walls are new?
