New Jersey .we renovated our bathroom. We gave the general contractor$2500.00 as a deposit for a custom shower door.he in turn hired J and L glass company(they have a BBB claim against them)which we did not know. They have been to the house 12 times made holes in the marble, tile and the door is not allinged properly, gaps in the tracts, the door cannot be opened because it hits the tile, the door and the stationary panel rub at the top and there is a gap at the bottom,no plastic tracts were put in to water seal the shower. The doors were left held together with electrical tape and a 2x4 piece of wood. The contractor says he wants to fix it but we want our $2500.00
deposit back so we can hire a reputable shower installer pay a tile man to replace the tile.
what can we do? When we call the gen contractor he says "the glass comp. wants to "fix" it but WE wont let him!!" we are
