What is the name of your state? Arizona
I just received a letter from attorney regarding a property that I sold seven years ago. It seems there is a fence line dispute with the current owner and their neighbor to the south. The letter states that the fence line is inside the true property line and that the neighbors are trying to take possession of the property that is outside the true property line. First of all the fence (page wire)was existing when I purchased the property. Is it not true that the buyers of the home are responsible for performing a full survey if they have any potential issues. As far as I can remember the fence was right on the pins that were placed there by a pervious survey performed by previous owners others.
Do I have any responsibilities in this current dispute?
