Small claims - builder

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I sadly recently lost a case against a window fitter for work he said he had completed but hadn't, and the court saw this in his favour without any paper work what so ever. I was ordered to pay £800, and agreed with the court to pay in installments. I emailed the claiment twice to obtain sort code and bank account details to set up a standing order, and he did not reply. I wrote to him and he ignored me so I called round to his house and took a witness and paid him the amount I was ordered to pay. I took a written receipt letter with me that he scribbled on to say he had been paid. This was approx 1 year ago.

Today I have been sent a letter from him saying I haven't paid even though I have. I have a copy of the emails sent proving I tried to set up a standing order for the amounts ordered by the court, and have the letter he scribbled a signature on when I eventually got to speak to him to pay him, and have a witness to this effect.

What should I do...?

Any help greatly recieved.
