Here's the skinny: purchased a new home 4 years ago; driveway is sinking, contractor agreed (verbally) to replace it. ($35K) He submitted a claim to his insurance company, they sent an adjuster and agreed that it needed to be replaced. Now the good news: He neglected to inform his insurance company that he was building homes, he only told them that he was building metal/pre-fab metal buildings, so they denied the claim. Other than arbitration (specified in the contract), what recourse do I really have?
