What are my rights if my contract expired?South Carolina - We have been building our house since February. The builder promised a closing date of July 15. In the contract it gives them a 10 day grace period until the contract expires. The builder promised and promised that the house would get done on time and now the closing date has come and gone. Now we just have to see if they finish the house within the 10 day grace period. What are our legal rights if the contract expires before the house gets finished? |

| Depends - have your contract (in its entirety) reviewed by a local attorney.
