1998 Bk

What is the name of your state? Alabama

Back in 1998 I filed for Chpt 13 Bk and made payments for several years, then fell on hard times and was unable to keep up the payments. So the BK was dismissed.

I am going through a divorce now and need to file Bk, but this time Chpt 7. Do you know if I can file Chpt 7 now or do I have to clear up the other Bk first?
