2much debt

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Washington
I am in the military and will be retiring next month. I have about 40 thousand dollars debt in credit cards and paying amortization of $1500 for a property I bought overseas. My retirement check will not be enough to pay my obligations, will bankcruptcy help me? If I file for bankcruptcy, will my property be liquidated to pay my creditors? Is there any other option to settle my obligations without losing my retirement home?

With property out of the country, you don't have a routine bk. Most bk lawyers give a free initial consultation. Talk with a couple and get all of your options explained.
