2nd morgtage not reaffirmed

2nd morgtage not reaffirmed

What is the name of your state? Mississippi We filed Chapter 7 in 2000 at that time we reaffirmed our first mortgage the 2nd was not and the lawyer told me not to pay on the 2nd because in 6 years the statute of limitations would be up and the 2nd would be removed from the deed. Is this true?
