? about chapter 7

What is the name of your state? GA

I just found out that my wages are going to be garnished 25% starting next week. I have not received no letters stating who will be doing this.

I know I had a repo, because I signed for a friend, and he didn't make the payments and got the car repo'd in NY

I don't have that much credit card debit,, about 1500.00..
Maybe one phone bill 300.00
student loans (but i am back in school, so the loans are on hold)

My question is that I am buying a car paying every two weeks
from one of those "buy here Pay here" places..
Will they take my car away?

Probably not, you don't own the car - yet - and it wouldn't be worth it for them to go after your car.

You SHOULD have gotten some notice of the garnishment from your employer, and you most CERTAINLY should have been served a summons for the lawsuit they filed against you that got them the judgment they're going to make you pay !! You've apparently had your head in the sand not to know you'd been sued and LOST !

I got the letter from my job dated the jan 11, but I haven't recieved any summons for me to appear in court. I never recieved any letters stating they would garnish my wages, whoever they are.. I have to wait till tuesday to find out who is doing this..

They aren't going to TELL you your wages will be garnished, they do NOT have to notify you at all. You got the only notice required by law - from your employer.

Now, since you have NO idea who's sued you and why, I strongly urge you to call your local courthouse and ask about any judgments filed against you. Then trot yourself down there and get a copy of the judgment case file to find out who sue you, for what, how much, and how, when and where the summons was served !
