After Bankruptcy Help Resources

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Oregon

I have done some searching and have not found any resources for help AFTER bankruptcy, like the discharge decision, the repayment schedule, credit building, refinancing, banking, taxes, etc. Does anyone have or know of websites, particular charitable or non-profit organizations, or even AFFORDABLE organizations, books, or other materials that offer such advice? I can't afford to pay the lawyer for any more bankruptcy "advice". I never received any for the money I did pay anyway.
I would also like to know which particular document in the discharge order actually tells you what your obligations are, ie: who to pay, how much for how long, etc. i have searched pacer ( i have not received paperwork from the lawyer or trustee) and have not found anything. If i have not found those documents on pacer, can I assume ALL non-reaffirmed debts were discharged?
Thanks in advance.

It's been pointed out several times that your discharge says something to the affect that all debts eligible for discharge have been discharged.
What are you talking about with payment schedules? Your unsecured creditors were wiped out. No need to repay anything. If you want to keep your house or car or have student loan debt, pay them them the agreed amount.

www.creditboards.com is a good place for some credit repair information. The mortgage forum has several mortgage brokers used to dealing with clients who have credit issues.

If you filed for a chapter 7 BK, than ALL creditors listed in your matrix will be discharged and there is NO payment schedule.

A chapter 13 is a payment schedule. If it is close to your discharge date, or past the discharge date, and you have not recieved a schedule you need to contact your Lawyer to find out what is going on and you need to do it NOW. Any missed payments could be grounds for dismissal of your case and ALL your creditors can come after you again.

Go to creditboards.com to learn about life after BK. There are a LOT of people who go there to build their credit scores and find out how to better their position post BK.

There are NO good organization out there to help you rebuild their credit, and most that tout they will improve your score within 30 days are all scams... You will have to do this on your own... Good luck!

There was one creditor who showed at the meeting (was discharged in July) and then I was told the case was "open for assets" when I called in Aug. The lawyer wants 250.00 more ( I already paid 2800.00) for some paperwork stuff and wont return my calls. I figured I 'd have to pay something to the creditor and then some leftover business taxes but I never heard anything. i'm assuming I still owe the taxing authorities but I dont know if I can sell my house or refinance or anything like that so I can get in a position to pay them.
I'm looking for a resource that can tell me what I can , and more importantly what I should do after bankruptcy. 3 grand with the lawyer aint bought me much.
Thanks for the word on the credit repair "industry". I've known about that cr@p for many years, and believe they are in cahoots with the creditors and the credit reporting agencies to keep in place usurious finance charges and interest rates, along with the Republicans and the Builderbergers and the Illuminatti etc...
Thanks and good luck to you too!
