After filing a Chapter 7 are we still liable for state taxes that were included

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington

My husband and I filed a personal chapter 7 in 2002 listing taxes owed to the State of Washington. We also filed a chapter 7 for the business. These were discharged in April of 2002. My husband would like to apply for a State job but wondered if the State of Washington could then garnish his salary or come after us for these state taxes?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Assuming that you completed your personal chapter 7, and the taxes were personal taxes, and they were listed on your bankruptcy, then no, the state cannot come after him. Discharged means "the end".
