Another Question??


What is the name of your state? tennessee
if i filed for chapter 7 on 10/28/96 and the discharge date was 02/11/97 when could i file again for chapter 7 / what about a chapter 13? thanks and if i filed on both mortgages and was willing to pry my mother out of the house how would that happen? would the house be sold and i would be responsible for the remainder of the amount that it didn't bring at sale? thanks o's girl

You may file a chapter 7 every 6 years from the date of the previous filing. So, Oct. of this year and you may file again. I don't understand some of yourpost. Who actuially owns the home? Whose name is on the deed?

SORRY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING. MINE AND MY MOTHERS NAMES ARE ON THE DEED. SINCE MY FATHER DIED. I ASK MYSELF SOMETIMES HOW I CAN MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR HER BUT I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND THE ANSWER TO THAT ONE YET. WE HAVE A FIRST MORTGAGE @ 48000.00 AND THE SECOND MORTGAGE IS 16500.00 AND THE HOUSE IS ONLY APPRAISED AT 55000.00. HOW THAT HAPPENED I GUESS WAS STUPIDITY. REMODELING AND SUCH.BOTH OUR NAMES ARE ON THE DEED AND THE MORTGAGES. THANKS FOR REPLYING SO FAST BIGUN!!!! O'S GIRL
