What is the name of your state? Indiana

Does anyone know the approximate amount of time it takes for a bankruptcy case to be complete? Is there somewhere I can go to view the processes taken. I'm a single parent of 4, I've not filed yet but I'm thinking about it and I'm scared to death!

Thank you to anyone who can help.

A normal Chapter 7 Case usually takes about 3 to 4 months. The length of time can be longer if a assets need to be sold or if a creditor files an objection. Most Chapter 13 Bankruptcies are completed in 3 years.

Thank you for your quick response.

Are there any links for state specific guidelines as far exempt items.

Thanks again.
