BankruptcyWhat is the name of your state? Wisconsin. I was wondering if you file bankruptcy and you would win money like say 2500.00, do you have to report that to anyone? Do they take it away or what happens to it? If you do not report it and the irs turns it in at the end of the year, can they throw out your bankruptcy? |

| You're supposed to report any sort of windfall you receive within 180 days of your discharge. After that, it's "finders-keepers". You don't have to report to the trustee forever. |
