bankruptcy chapter 13

What is the name of your state? Texas

I filled chapter 13 and it was confirmed 1 year and 4 months ago, it is set for 3 years. I have paid off a big debt since then and was wandering, could I ask to have the chp. 13 dropped. And if so the main part of our debt was credit cards, I would think most of the company's have writen these off as bad debt can they come back and ask for the money if they have done that.

Unfortunately, you're stuck for the full 3 years. If you suddenly come up with money for an early payoff, the Trustee will raise your payments and the percentage you're paying on unsecured debts.
