my bankruptcy was dated in august of 1992...you say it remains on your credit report for 7 to 10 years. it is almost nine years for me now...does it automatically get wiped off or is it up to me to contact someone and who would that be?

Your best to notify the 3 credit bureaus yourself. It has been over 7 years, I would do it soon.
