Bankruptcy From PrisonWhat is the name of your state? California Can you file for bankruptcy from prison in California? How do you wave pre file credit counseling and post credit counseling if allowed to fiile from prison? I have heard of people filing, but I have never seen it done. Any information would be helpful What is the name of your state? |

The credit counseling thing can be done over the phone or even on-line. There is a way to "appear" at a 341 meeting via interrogatories, but I don't know much about it and don't know if it's an option for prisoners.
