What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IA
I started with a Chapter 13 (12/2006) and converted to a Chapter 7 (06/2010) Bankruptcy. The Chapter 7 was discharged in Oct-2010. Included were private student loans. Now they are taking me to court to collect.
I have 2 questions;
1. I know you are not discharged from FEDERAL student loans, but what about private?
2. What is the statute of limitation on these debts? Last one was taken out in 2004, last payment on them was part of the Chap 13
