Hello and thank you for viewing my post.

I have 2 questions.

1. My lawyer is telling me I should try to get a partial discharge on my student loans because I have 4 kids and he feels that is a hardship and wanting to pursue a partial discharge. My lawyer wants to charge double the bankruptcy to attempt to do this. I know you have to be near death to even be considered. I'm wondering if this is even worth the effort? Has anyone heard of a partial discharge due to hardship of raising children???

2. I am letting my house to in the bankruptcy. I recently tried to rent an apartment from a large apartment complex and when I was honest and told them when they run a credit check (although I have NOT filed yet - I would be) they told me there was no way they could rent to me. Is that common after a bankruptcy? I am so afraid I will be out on the street.
